Wave, gathered or flat curtains: the differences
When you configure a classic curtain, you choose the effect: flat, wave or gathered. It isn't just a matter of looks — it changes how much fabric is needed and how the curtain falls.
Flat
The panel hangs almost taut, with very few folds. The result is clean and contemporary, letting the fabric and the colour do the talking. It uses less fabric and is the most understated choice.
Wave
The classic soft, even folds: the curtain "breathes" and moves beautifully. It's the most balanced and elegant effect, suited to almost any room.
Gathered
More fabric, tighter folds and a rich, enveloping drape. The gathering is concentrated at the top, at the heading, and falls full from there. It's the most striking finish, perfect when you want a curtain that fills the wall.
How much fabric is needed
The fuller the effect, the more metres of fabric are needed for the same window: that's why gathered costs more than flat. In the configurator you can see the preview change in real time as you choose.
